duplicate checks

I'm using Complete Accounting v6, and occasionally need to make a duplicate check or duplicate checkstub. If the salary of the employee has changed, even though I bring up the original check information through the edit option under payroll tasks, the new salary is indicated on the past check. I am never able to get the year to date information to print that was valid for that original date. Is there another way to get an exact duplicate of a check?
