I'm using Peachtree Complete 2002 with Windows XP.
I have had problems backing up folders containing Peachtree files. For some reason, even if I have full administrative rights and the files being backed up are not used during the backup session, Peachtree will not allow me to copy / backup certain files under the Peachtree Data subfolder. Error message reads "access denied" or "file in use". The files in question are too many to list down here, but most have an APC or APD prefix. I have had to uninstall and reinstall Peachtree and map it to a new data path on our servers as a workaround. This seems to take care of the problem, but I now have a folder that is not being used by Peachtree that cannot be deleted because of the same errors.
What causes these errors and how do I prevent them from happening again?I have suffered quite a lot of downtime becuase of this and hope that you can help me resolve this problem.
