Peachtree 7 Complete to Accounting 2002

I currently have Peachtree 7 Complete. I tried unsuccessfully to upgrade to Peachtree 2002 Version 9 without success. It seems that you cannot upgrade/downgrade from a complete version to a regular version. I do not need the complete added features and do not wish to manually reinstall the old files as my business year starts in October.
So am I permanently stuck! with version 7 or is there a work around to my upgrade/downgrade dilemma????

Sorry, you cannot upgrade from Complete to a regular version ( non-Complete verion ). I think you better upgrade to Peachtree Complete 2002. Save you time and effort, time is money.

Question - could you export your journals to excel and save them to a comptiable format and then import them to new location???

I haven't tried it before, however in theory it works. But, bear in mind:

1. Import / Export function is limited, not everything can be imported / exported.
2. The time cost for manually modifying entries can be more expensive than buying the "Complete" upgrade.
3. Risk of errors and mistakes.
