I am a consultant for a company who uses Peachtree. I do not know at this time what version, but am in the process of finding out. I want to guess and say version 7.

Anywho, I have a couple questions?

1. How easily is it to 'transfer data' from an Access 2000 database to Peachtree? (Transfer means either directly, Excel spreadsheet import, CSV import, or other means).

2. Is there any documentation that either a Peachtree manual or a website would have that would elaborate on the steps to take to interface Access 2000 with Peachtree?

In my opinion is very easy to transfer data from one database to another using csv's files. You can trasfer almost anything: data and/or transactions.

You can read the user manual for the importing instructions for each module. Also, you can go to the peachtree knoledge center website ( http://support.peachtree.com/ ) and look for the importing specs/instructions for each module.

You may want to look at PawCom. It is an application that is specifically designed to integrate MS Access with PAW and PCAW data. You can find out more about it by following the link on the peachtreeusers main page.
