Here is the situation:
We have two offices both about 300miles apart. What is the easiest way to keep the two offices in sync? I was thinking about setting up possibly a central server at one location and the other location would login via terminal services (win2k3) to access the database. I can't think of any other way off hand to make this work. Any suggestions?

I would suggest one office (A) do all the entries and the other office (B) be read only. Trying to access in realtime via some kind of remote file system mounting is asking for trouble.
Each night office B can access A's file system (eg, pcAnywhere file tranfser) and copy the company folder. Then office B can see A's data no more than one day late.

what files are required to be copied over (like the file extensions)? I've also read about peachtree web accounting, is that only for 2006 versions?

Yes, however, this will be multiple users at the same time, not just 1 person or else I'd use that solution. Therefore I was considering terminal services. However, I was reading about Web accounting, but it looks like for it to be fully functional it needs to be version 2006+
