2004 Premium for Manuf. to 2006 Version

We currently are using the 2004 version of Premium for Manufacturing. For the second year in a row, we have had our customer's history records and the inventory records pick up information from the previous year and post it in the current year. (ie a sale in June of 2004 is showing as a sale in the Customer history file for June of 2005 while no actual 2005 sale exists). We understand this is a systems problem; and last year we paid to have our records corrected. Now that it is happening again, we wonder if anyone knows if an upgrade to 2006 will correct our current records and keep it from happening in the future. Has anyone else had this happen and seen it fixed through upgrading?

One must correct these data problems before upgrading should you choose to do so. Back up your data files, change your current accounting period back to Period. 1. Setup Peachtree's Integrity Checker and run the DATA SYCHRONIZATION test labeled INVENTORY / JRNL and INV BOM / JRNL. These tests will correct the Inventory report problem as described.
