I have Peachtree Premium Accounting - 2005, Accountant's Edition
We are doing the work in Peachtree for a client. They also have a bookkeeper who does all their accounts payable/check writing.
Presently, I've been entering summary journal entries of her work into Peachtree, which makes it difficult when it comes time to bank statement reconciliations.
The way we work is that I don't start work on a month, e.g. August, until she's completed all her work in August. And she never does any more work in August once she'd passed on her August work to me.
What I'd like to do is have her e-mail to me the accounts payable/purchase/check disbursements for the month. She would create these via the export function and I would get them into Peachtree via the import function.
I've discussed this with a few Peachtree certified providers and they've all told me that this is problematic. Anyone have any experience/opinions of this?
