I recently upgraded to 2005 from 2002. Everthing is fine except that my balance sheet is out of balance by about $200. I had run a balance sheet before the upgrade and all was OK. The problem starts in August, July is in balance. I ran data verification and got the message " An entry of $206.25 could not be posted to account #0. This entry was found in Journal PJ period 25 tranasction No. 3 and the reference was 6846, line 0".
Anyone know how to fix this?

Go back and look at the GL account that shows that amount. Every once in a while my computer goes crazy and changes my Accounts Payable GL to "0" and then the computer does not recognize the account so only 1/2 of the transaction get posted.
If you can open the item up and change the "0" to the appropriate account number, then post the transaction you will have corrected the problem. I did not find running a data verification or integrity check worked.
As an example, my AP GL default account is 20000 but when I posted a bill, PT decided to post the AP part to GL "0" which does not exist. I opened the invoice, changed AP account to 20000 and then reposted it. Seems to work fine and did not get the error message and the balance sheet that did not balance.
