View Full Version : Converting from DacEasy

I plan on converting from DacEasy to Peachtree Accounting. I currently use multi-purpose checks, 2 part, on a DeskJet printer. After installing Peachtree I will have many checks left over from DacEasy. Does Peachtree support printing 2 copies of checks, and can I format the printing so I can use up the checks I have?

Yes you can format the printing of the checks to match your design. It's time consuming and in my case cheaper to just ditch the old and purchase new.

Even with the checks we purchased that are PT designed, I had to tweak the positions a little. That was very simple and easy to do.

I don't know of an automatic way to print duplicate checks. You can manually. Just out of curiousity, why would you want a dupe check? Wouldn't the check stub have the needed information for A/P records?

you can print duplicate checks.

1. click on "reports" then "accounts payable" on the top menu.
2. double click "disbursement checks" folder
3. select any of the sample forms
4. click on "design" button
5. in the design screen click the "options" button
6. click on the "grid/copies" tab then select the number of copies that you require.
7. click on "ok" button
8. click on "save" and "close" the design window
