I have just installed PT 2002 on a peer-to-peer network. All workstations are running Windows 98SE (128 mb ram) except for data workstation which is running Windows 2000 Professional (512 mb ram).
Every couple of days the data workstation is getting hung up and displaying "not enough resources to perform requested task" messages.
The error log shows the following message:
"Source: server
Error ID : 2021
The server was unable to allocate a work item two times in the last 60 seconds."

I have had our networking guy look at this and he has verified that everything in the Windows 2000 networking environment is set up correctly. Since the only application being run on this workstation is Peachtree, he feels this error is somehow being caused by Peachtree.

If I reboot the server (data workstation), it's OK for a couple of days, then the same thing occurs again.

Any ideas??

Thanks,
Carmen

The first thing to check is your drive mappings. Make sure that your PCW90.INI file includes PEACHW in the path, e.g. on a workstation it should read G:\PEACHW. Network administrators sometimes map inside the PEACH folder, eg. G:\, which can wreak havoc on a network installation.
