PT Classic Accounting Release 13 - HELP!!!

Does anyone have any experience with this very old (from 2002) program and it's ability to run on Windows 7? We have used this program since Sept 2002on a windows 98 machine. Now my boss has just purchased a HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 7 with a HP Officejet 6500 and wants to run Peachtree on it...I have installed the program from the original CD and attempted to set up theprinter but it has been over an hour and it still is not doing anything but a blank "peachtree screen". I don't know if its even trying although task manager says peachtree is "running"...any help will be greatly appreciated...before he takes the laptop back and sticks with the old "98" machine.

I would not expect Peachtree Classic 13.0 to be able to run on Windows 7. This Peachtree version ran well on Windows XP but not so on Vista, so Win7 being newer again, well you can take it from there.
