Emailing quotes/invoices

Is there any way to email quotes and invoices other than hitting the email button? I'm having trouble sending to one particular client, and I'm thinking it's due to us being a company and it gets put into his spam folder. (It happens alot with other customers)

What I wanted to do was send it through my personal email, but I would have to find it somewhere to attach it.

Anyone know how I would go about that?

Could you possibly hit the PDF button create your peachtree invoice as a PDF, then you'd be able to send it by your regular e-mail and attach the document as a PDF.

You can download a free PDF Printer i.e. CutePDF and when printing your Invoice, select the CutePDF printer in lieu of your regular printer. CutePDF will ask where you want to file the PDF Invoice (i.e. Desktop or other folder). Later you can use your regular e-mail client to attach the PDF Invoice as described by strayhorn.

I don't have the PDF button at the top, but based on what y'all said, a lightbulb went off.

I just emailed it so myself, and saved it on my desktop.

Glad to see this thread... I entered an invoice as usual, then hit the 'email' button to send directly to my customer as I did in previous versions of PCA. My current version is PCA 2010. It seems to be working different. I hit "email" after entering the invoice, and it proceeds to the email, but the send button is missing. Looks like Peachtree is waiting for me to set up an email client. I'm digging through but so far not finding what step I'm missing.

In previous versions, I also notice when emailing an invoice, PT generated an odd invoice number instead of going in numerical sequence. I didn't like that so I quit emailing them.

What's the scoop? Does 2010 still number them weird, and where can i set up my email client within Peachtree? And, I see how to save it as a PDF and email that to my customer, but why not just use the email button?
