Classic Accounting and Windows 7 64 bit

Hello! We are having to update our XP machines to Windows 7 64 bit. Will our Peachtree Classic work with this OS? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

win 7

If you run Win 7 Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise versions you can use the Microsoft Virtual PC and Win XP Mode to run them. I'm running Win 7 Pro - 32 bit and it installs fine.

The Virtual PC allows you to open a window from within Win 7 that emulates the older operating system requirements. You could run Win 95, or XP or Vista in there, the XP mode is also available as a download from Microsoft.

Had to do some messing around with Font size in Bank Acct Manager to get it to a size I liked.

Yes, your peachtree will work with Windows 7 64 bit setup. It officially supports Windows 7, but recently Microsoft has ended support for Windows 7 but you can still use Windows 7 using Azure virtual desktop. It officially supports Windows 7.
