Inactive Vendors-Hide Function & Security

I am currently using Peachtree Quantum 2007. I know that there is a way under Global Options to hide inactive vendors so that they cannot be selected under 'Purchase/Receive Inventory.' I am wondering if there is a security option that will allow the Administrator to prevent a user from changing their global options?

I am trying to maintain the inactive vendors while not allowing payments to be put through for them. I know you get a warning message when you try to process a payment for an inactive vendor. Is there any way to prevent this entirely.

Thanks!
Sam

So I have an update. I found out there was currently no security around the Global Options. I still do not know if there is a way to prevent payments to inactive vendors. If someone has that answer that would be great.

Thanks,
Sam

There should be a warning message that comes up when you try to post to an inactive record. Tell your employees to not do that, and then hold them accountable.
