PT Service Update 1 (2010 Premium)
I installed the service update 1 for PT Premium Mfg 2010 and now I cannot get back into PT. Getting this error message:
"Peachtree Accounting has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." There are no suggestions for how to correct this problem. Here is what is contained in the Error Report: Error Signature: EventType : clr20r3 P1 : peachw.exe P2 : 2010.0.1.801 P3 : 4a83c7f9 P4 : sage.peachtree.ui P5 : 2010.0.1.801 P6 : 4a83c471 P7 : 1b0e P8 : 16 P9 : system.io.fileloadexception Any ideas on how to correct? Do I need to uninstall the software & reinstall? Change a config file? |

Use the Windows - Control Panel - Add / Remove Programs and uninstall Peachtree. Then re-install the program. Be sure to disable all Security Software before installing both Peachtree. Delete the SR1 update from the UPDATES folder located in the Peachtree - Company data folder and allow Peachtree to download a new copy before attempting to re-install the program update as it may have been corrupted causing the problem.
