transfer AR, Invoicing, history to another company code?

I'm using DOS ver11, on WIN95, with no problems. I'd like to set up a new company, and transfer some of the 1000 or so customers from my current company to the new one.

I'd really like to transfer as much account history as possible, to save me from a lot of data entry, however, even having just the Customer ID and basic info would be a time saver.

I'm not ready to convert to another program yet, although I would be interested in people's opinion of what to convert to (something in Windows, obviously)

Thanks !

Only thing I can think about is to copy the data folders (modules) that you want to another company. Then delete from that other company all that you want to.... I don't think there's another way to copy transactional data.

You should be aware that v13, while the retaining the product structure is "windows based". Admittedly, there are some ticks remaining but overall I think the results have been good. They are headed in the right direction.

Go to: http://www.peachtree.com/classic for info on v13
